Sherri Terese Smith was a 32-year-old Black/African American female from Fairfield, Alabama, whose life ended violently in the early morning hours of November 21, 2011. She lived in the Fair Oaks section of Fairfield, at a home on Earlwood Road, and by all accounts she was balancing work, motherhood, school, and a life that still had forward motion.
