On September 16, 2021, in Fairfield, Alabama, 27-year-old Ladiamonique Esta Zaire-Simmons was fatally shot during a family dispute at a residence on the 500 block of Osceola Circle. The incident occurred shortly after 1:00 AM, prompting Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies to respond to reports of a shooting between family members.
