On June 3, 2019, in Fairfield, Alabama, 48-year-old Catherine Shaunette Honor, affectionately known as "Mrs. Cat," and her 23-year-old son, Tavaris Glenn Honor, were tragically found shot to death. Tavaris was discovered in the front yard of a residence in the 200 block of 57th Street, while Catherine was found inside the home. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office confirmed their identities and the circumstances of their deaths.
