On November 7, 2010, 22-year-old Marquice Ayers was shot and killed in the 2700 block of Langston Place, SE, Washington, D.C. The incident occurred at approximately 8:00 p.m., and law enforcement officials responded to the scene to find Ayers suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was later pronounced dead after being transported to the hospital. This tragic incident remains unsolved, and the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) is continuing its efforts to investigate the case.
