On March 12, 2020, at approximately 5:20 p.m., Mobile Police responded to a shooting near Cedar Pointe Road and Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile, Alabama. Upon arrival, officers discovered 42-year-old Jeffery Jason Himes suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
