Death by Force

On the evening of April 8, 2023, at approximately 9:30 p.m., 43-year-old Montraze Khalil Slater was fatally shot while seated in a vehicle on the 1800 block of Brownlee Street in Mobile, Alabama. An assailant in another vehicle approached and fired multiple shots, striking both Slater and his companion, Greg Austin. Both men sustained life-threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital, where Slater succumbed to his injuries.
