Blake Lavern Brewer, a 54-year-old white male, was found deceased in his home in Lake Charles, Louisiana, on August 23, 2015. The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office identified Brewer as the victim of a homicide. Kevin Daigle, who had been living with Brewer, was implicated in his death. Daigle was also involved in the fatal shooting of Louisiana State Trooper Steven Vincent.
