In the late hours of June 22, 2024, the sound of multiple gunshots shattered the night in the 2700 block of Ernest Street in Lake Charles, Louisiana. When police arrived, they found 23-year-old Jaden Cade Weber, a male from the nearby city of Sulphur, lying in a parking lot with apparent gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries the following day, June 23, 2024.
