On June 22, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in the 2700 block of Ernest Street in Lake Charles, Louisiana. The victim, 23-year-old Jaden Cade Weber from Sulphur, was found lying in a parking lot with apparent gunshot wounds after officers responded to reports of multiple gunshots fired just before 10 p.m..
Weber succumbed to his injuries the following day, June 23, 2024.
