In the early evening of April 8, 2023, the life of 20-year-old Devyn Keon Thomas was tragically cut short in Lake Charles, Louisiana. A Black male, Thomas was discovered unresponsive inside a white Honda Accord in the 4200 block of 5th Avenue. Emergency responders from Acadian Ambulance arrived at the scene, but it was too late; Thomas was pronounced deceased.
