On July 19, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in Lake Charles, Louisiana, resulting in the death of Shane Morris, a 34-year-old man. The incident took place around 1:00 am in the parking lot of Paradise Grill & Daiquiris, located at the corner of Prien Lake and L’Auberge Boulevard.
