Ezekiel Joubert, a 35-year-old man from Lake Charles, Louisiana, tragically lost his life on June 19, 2021. Joubert, who was homeless at the time of his death, was fatally shot by Steven D. Rigmaiden, a 30-year-old Lake Charles resident. The incident occurred near Albert and Elder streets, where Joubert's body was later discovered in the middle of the road.
