Ryan Clayton-Brown, a 25-year-old man from Bessemer, Alabama, was fatally shot on May 16, 2020, in what was later determined to be a targeted homicide. The shooting occurred late in the evening when police were called to the scene of a violent altercation at an apartment complex in Bessemer.
