On April 8, 2020, 36-year-old Jeffery S. Burke was fatally stabbed during an incident in Bessemer, Alabama. The event occurred around 7 a.m. in the 1700 block of Fairfax Alley. Burke was involved in a confrontation with 33-year-old Alexander Tubbs, who claimed that Burke attempted to break into his home.
