In the early hours of a Tuesday morning, on July 5, 2011, the life of 22-year-old Kelvin Donnell Brown was tragically cut short in Washington, D.C. A Black male, Brown was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the 1600 block of Lincoln Road, Northeast, a neighborhood plunged into the unfolding drama just after midnight.
