In the early hours of August 9, 2020, Dothan Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 100 block of West Powell Street. Upon arrival, they discovered 25-year-old Cortez Fitzgerald Hill unresponsive in his vehicle, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
