On August 25, 2020, 18-year-old African American male Majic Dewayne Collins Jr. was fatally shot in Dothan, Alabama. The incident occurred in the 1300 block of Galaxie Drive, where Collins was engaged in a conversation with another teenager. During this interaction, the other teen allegedly opened fire, striking Collins multiple times.
