Death by Force

On January 1, 2021, at approximately 9:05 p.m., Birmingham Police Department officers responded to a report of a person down at 4040 40th Avenue North in the Inglenook area of Birmingham, Alabama. Upon arrival, they discovered 35-year-old Carl Misenrendino III lying unresponsive near a residence. Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene. Evidence suggested that the incident was a homicide, marking Birmingham's first of the year.
