Death by Force

On February 9, 2018, 20-year-old Dietrich "Dede" Boone was fatally shot in the backyard of a residence located in the 8400 block of 9th Avenue South in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident stemmed from a confrontation between Boone and 21-year-old Arron Jamal Gaines, reportedly over a mutual female acquaintance. During the altercation, Gaines allegedly shot Boone, who succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
