A man was shot and killed in Ensley Thursday morning.
Birmingham police on Thursday evening identified the victim as LaDarius Cooper. He was 29.
Police responded shortly after 10 a.m. to the 4900 block of Avenue R. They found Cooper in a Hyundai Sonota slumped over the steering wheel. A second person in the vehicle jumped out and ran from the vehicle.
