On October 14, 2019, 44-year-old Charles L. Brown Jr. was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident began with an altercation at a Burger King located at the intersection of Third Avenue West and Princeton Parkway. Following the dispute, Brown attempted to drive away but crashed his vehicle at the intersection of Second Avenue West and 12th Street West. He was found deceased inside the vehicle from an apparent gunshot wound.
