In the summer of 2021, a brutal and fatal assault cut short the life of 68-year-old Carlester Lee Blue in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident, which occurred on a Tuesday morning in June, unfolded at the Cherry Avenue Citgo on Forestdale Boulevard. Blue, a man who relied on the assistance of a walker, was viciously attacked, sustaining what would prove to be deadly injuries.
