On January 10, 2021, at approximately 12:51 a.m., Prichard Police Department officers responded to a disturbance call at 3119 St. Stephens Road in Prichard, Alabama. Upon arrival, they discovered 32-year-old Matthew Scott Lowry with apparent gunshot wounds. Emergency medical services and the Prichard Fire Department were summoned, but Lowry was pronounced dead at the scene.
