On April 3, 2021, at approximately 6:22 p.m., Montgomery police and fire medics responded to a shooting incident near the intersection of Troy Highway and Eastern Boulevard. Upon arrival, they discovered 30-year-old Jamarcus Jordan suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Jordan was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
