In the early evening hours of April 3, 2021, tragedy struck in Montgomery, Alabama, claiming the life of 30-year-old Jamarcus Jordan, a Black male. At approximately 6:22 p.m., the sound of gunfire shattered the peace near the intersection of Troy Highway and Eastern Boulevard. When Montgomery police and fire medics arrived at the scene, they found Jordan suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to a local hospital for emergency medical attention.
