On May 12, 2019, in Montgomery, Alabama, 45-year-old Cedric L. Hubbard was fatally shot. The incident occurred at Hubbard's residence on Capri Street, following a dispute with Latoya Brown, the mother of one of his children. During their argument, Hubbard reportedly threatened to kill Brown, prompting her to leave and inform her son, Ayindae Brown, about the altercation.
