On a spring evening in Fairfield, Alabama, the life of 24-year-old DeAngelo Dewayne Poole was tragically cut short. On April 27, 2021, Poole was at a park on Glen Crest Drive when gunfire erupted from a passing vehicle. The incident, which authorities would later describe as a targeted drive-by shooting, resulted in Poole's death and left four other men wounded, disrupting the peace of the community and leaving a family to mourn a devastating loss.
