In the small city of Artesia, New Mexico, the life of 36-year-old Fabian Ochoa was abruptly ended on the night of October 27, 2018. A violent encounter unfolded near the intersection of 4th Street and Logan Avenue, where gunfire erupted, shattering the evening quiet. When police arrived, drawn by multiple reports of shots fired, they discovered two men suffering from gunshot wounds. One of them was Fabian Ochoa, a Hispanic male known to many as "Chapo."
