On June 12, 2021, 37-year-old Daniel Clay Ellison of Clanton, Alabama, was found with a fatal gunshot wound in the 5100 block of Carmichael Road in Montgomery. Responding to a call about a person shot around 4:15 a.m., Montgomery police officers discovered Ellison deceased at the scene.
