A dispute over a set of van keys on March 11, 2016, in Montgomery, Alabama, tragically escalated, leading to the death of 59-year-old Tony Myhand. An argument erupted between Myhand, a wheelchair user, and his son, Christopher Myhand, when the elder Myhand's request for the vehicle's keys was denied.
In a moment of anger, Christopher Myhand fatally shot his unarmed father twice, striking him in the neck and chest.
