In the summer of 2019, tragedy struck in Montgomery, Alabama, with the death of Kenneth Edward Sanders, a 55-year-old male resident of the city. On the evening of Sunday, July 28, 2019, Sanders was fatally wounded by gunfire in the area of Conley Circle. First responders and law enforcement were dispatched to the scene, where they found Sanders suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, he succumbed to his injuries.
