On July 19, 2021, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Birmingham Police Department officers responded to a report of a person shot at 928 Erie Street in the Wylam area of Birmingham, Alabama. Upon entering the residence, they discovered 47-year-old LaPez-Monte Alveraz Reddrick lying unresponsive in the dining room. Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel arrived and pronounced him deceased at the scene.
