Timothy Lashawn Erby, a 49-year-old man from Birmingham, Alabama, was tragically shot and killed on August 5, 2021. The incident occurred in the western part of the city, an area where gun violence had become a growing concern. Birmingham police responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 9:00 p.m., finding Erby suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
