In the summer of 2021, tragedy struck in Birmingham, Alabama, when Timothy Lashawn Erby, a 49-year-old male, was found dead on August 5th. His life was cut short by gunfire in what police would soon classify as a double homicide. The grim discovery was made inside a residence located in the 1000 block of 42nd Place North, where another man, 66-year-old Ellis Lewis Embry, was also found deceased.
