Do you know who murdered Denzal? In the winter of 2017, the life of 22-year-old Denzal Veron Moorer was cut short by an act of violence in Birmingham, Alabama. On the evening of Monday, February 20th, Moorer was found suffering from a gunshot wound inside a vehicle in the 800 block of Omega Street Southwest.
The events of that fatal evening unfolded around 6 p.m. when officers from the Birmingham Police Department were dispatched to the scene following reports of a person shot.
Upon their arrival, they discovered the young man inside a car, critically injured. He was rushed to UAB Hospital for emergency medical treatment.
