Jeremy Andrews, 33, was a Black man from Birmingham, Alabama, whose morning on February 28, 2024 ended in violence inside a home in the South East Lake area. Just after 8:20 a.m., Birmingham police were sent to a residence in the 7800 block of 7th Court South on a report of a person shot. When officers went inside, they found Andrews unresponsive with what investigators described as an apparent gunshot wound, and Birmingham Fire and Rescue pronounced him dead at the scene.
