On December 24, 2012, Jason Anthony Emma, aged 28, was shot and killed in Washington, D.C. The incident occurred at approximately 2:15 a.m. in the 1200 block of C Street, NE, Capitol Hill. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) responded to a report of gunshots and found Emma slumped over the steering wheel of his car.
