In the autumn of 2021, the life of 32-year-old Jabarry Tylon Lavell Keller, a Black male, was tragically cut short in Huntsville, Alabama. On the evening of October 6th, police were called to the Tree Haven Glen Apartments on Talwell Drive, where they discovered Mr. Keller's body. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
Investigators soon learned that Mr. Keller had been staying at the apartment of 24-year-old Chassidy Jacoya White.
It is believed that a verbal argument between the two escalated, culminating in the deadly shooting. Later that same evening, law enforcement, acting on information gathered during their investigation, located Ms. White at the home of a family member in the Meridianville area of Madison County.
Chassidy Jacoya White was taken into custody and subsequently charged with murder in connection with Mr. Keller's death. She was also booked on an unrelated charge of criminal trespassing. Following her arrest, Ms. White was transported to the Madison County Jail. In August of 2022, the case was presented to a Madison County grand jury, which handed down an indictment against her for the charge of murder.
