On October 30, 2021, a property dispute in Lester, Alabama, escalated tragically when 24-year-old Jason Chad Turner fatally shot his 33-year-old brother, George Michael Turner. The Limestone County Sheriff's Office reported that Jason called authorities around 2:05 p.m. to report that George was on his property. Upon confrontation, Jason shot George twice, resulting in his death at the scene.
