On December 12, 2021, at approximately 12:06 a.m., Birmingham Police Department officers responded to a shooting at an apartment located at 956 Pike Road in Birmingham, Alabama. Upon arrival, they discovered 18-year-old Jeremy Fidel Jackson slumped over in a chair in the front room, suffering from a gunshot wound. Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene.
