In the early morning hours of December 12, 2021, tragedy struck in a west Birmingham, Alabama, apartment, leaving a young man's life cut short. Inside the residence at 956 Pike Road, officers discovered 19-year-old Jeremy Fidel Jackson, a male victim who had sustained a fatal gunshot wound. Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel arrived at the scene and pronounced him deceased shortly after midnight.
