In the fall of 2021, the life of Justin Rasha Lee, a 34-year-old man, was tragically cut short in Birmingham, Alabama. On the evening of October 29th, an altercation in the 2700 block of 17th Avenue North escalated to a fatal shooting. Lee was the victim of this gun violence, marking a grim milestone for the city.
