In the warmth of a Saturday afternoon, on March 5, 2022, the life of 13-year-old Jaylon Keith Palmore, a Black male, was tragically cut short. Jaylon was simply sitting on his front porch in the 7500 block of 1st Avenue South in Birmingham, Alabama, when the unthinkable happened.
