In the late hours of an April evening in Mobile, Alabama, 34-year-old Dejean Washington was found near the roadway at the intersection of Center Street and Wood Alley, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. It was approximately 9:32 p.m. on April 26, 2022, when Mobile Police officers responded to a call of a possible shooting. Washington was quickly transported to a local hospital, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
