In the summer of 2016, the life of 18-year-old Jeffery Gino Ford was cut short in a burst of gunfire in Mobile, Alabama. On the evening of June 23rd, Ford was shot on Edwards Street and succumbed to his injuries, marking another tragic loss to gun violence in the city. The young man, known affectionately as 'Gino,' was a student at LeFlore High School and was remembered by friends and family for his sense of humor and loyalty.
