Kerry Crutcher, a 32-year-old man from Athens, Alabama, was fatally shot on June 4, 2022, in a tragic incident that drew significant attention from both local authorities and the surrounding community. Crutcher was found with gunshot wounds outside a residence in Athens, a small city in Limestone County. Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after reports of gunfire, but despite their efforts to administer life-saving measures, Crutcher succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
