In the quiet community of Athens, Alabama, the life of Kerry Deshaun Crutcher, a 32-year-old male, was abruptly ended on a Saturday evening. On June 4, 2022, at approximately 9:29 p.m., officers from the Athens Police Department were dispatched to the Higgins Court Apartments located at 515 South Hine Street following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Crutcher deceased at the scene.
