On June 24, 2022, 18-year-old Randon Tyler Gene Lee was fatally shot at a gas station in Prichard, Alabama, a suburb of Mobile. The incident occurred around 7:45 p.m. at the Exxon station on Saint Stephens Road. According to the Prichard Police Department, Lee had arranged to meet two individuals at the gas station to sell marijuana.
