Any updates on this case?
On July 20, 2021, at approximately 4:18 p.m., Mobile Police officers responded to the 1700 block of Sumner Drive in reference to a person down. Upon arrival, they discovered 17-year-old Jalon Gallery deceased, having sustained a gunshot wound.
The investigation led to the arrest of 18-year-old Kolby Johnlee Street from Escatawpa, Mississippi. Street turned himself in to the Mobile County Metro Jail on August 9, 2021, and was charged with murder in connection with Gallery's death.
