On June 20, 2023, 20-year-old Kristopher Tyler Kenney was fatally shot at the Spanish Oaks Inn in Theodore, Alabama. Kenney and his fiancée, Tailor Harris, had gone to the inn to visit his sister. Shortly after their arrival, Kenney stepped outside to retrieve an item from his car. Moments later, Harris heard multiple gunshots and witnessed a group of young men fleeing the scene.
