On February 18, 2014, 22-year-old Eric Rynard Davis was fatally shot in Mobile, Alabama. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. at the intersection of Sage Avenue and Old Shell Road. Davis was seated in his vehicle, stopped at a traffic light, when multiple shots were fired, striking him several times. After being hit, his vehicle moved forward and eventually came to rest against a utility pole. Emergency responders pronounced Davis deceased at the scene.
