Karlos Pettway, a 23-year-old man from Mobile, Alabama, was fatally shot on June 19, 2022, in what authorities later determined to be a homicide. Pettway's body was discovered in the early morning hours near the intersection of two streets in a residential area of Mobile. Police responded to a call about gunshots in the area, and upon arriving at the scene, they found Pettway suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
