In the early afternoon of September 11, 2022, Justin Jamond Hendrix, a 35-year-old male, became the victim of a fatal shooting in a quiet suburb of Birmingham, Alabama. The incident unfolded at approximately 12:43 p.m. at a Wells Fargo ATM located on West Valley Avenue in Homewood. Hendrix was in the process of conducting a transaction when the tranquil afternoon was shattered by the eruption of gunfire.
