In the spring of 2024, the life of 16-year-old Jaylan Lee Jenkins was tragically cut short in Birmingham, Alabama. On the evening of April 9th, an argument broke out at a local convenience store. Following the dispute, Jaylan left the store and got into his vehicle to drive away. It was at this moment that an unknown assailant, or possibly multiple individuals, fired at his car, striking him.
