On January 29, 2023, a fatal shooting occurred in Boligee, Alabama, during a party that escalated into an altercation. The incident took place shortly after 2:30 a.m., resulting in gunfire that wounded two men: 29-year-old Korizone Washington and 33-year-old Jerry Edwards. Both individuals were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Tragically, Korizone Washington succumbed to his injuries.
